FEBC
acted as Construction Manager and Quantity Surveyor on this hotel
Refurbishment scheme.
This included the new Drawing Room Bar.
The
entire ground floor public areas are reconfigured into a new reception,
drawing room, cocktail bar, meeting rooms and restaurant.
The
design was sympathetic with the period features, retaining the timber
panelling and emphasising the history of the rooms where Oscar Wilde and
Lillie Langtry stayed, whilst modernising the facilities to that demanded
by modern day international guests.
The
works were carried out whist the hotel was still operating.
FEBC
also carried out the services of Planning Supervisor.
