FEBC
acted as the Project & Cost Managers for the design and procurement
of the refurbishment of the luxurious Cotton House Hotel & Spa on
the exclusive private island of Mustique in the Caribbean.
The
assignment required the procurement of UK design consultants, in-depth
surveys of the existing building & services, design, tendering and
appointment of a local contractor in time for the yearly hotel closedown
period.
The
team also had to consider lead in & transportation times for imported
goods, whilst taking advantage of the local building techniques,
materials & craftsmanship.
